Homemaker of the Year

The Saginaw County Fair is honored to announce that they will be sponsoring the State of Michigan Homemaker competition in 2016 and 2017 during the county fair.

Eligible candidates are those who won a county homemaker title last year at their county fair. Contestants will be asked to provide a tri-fold board that will give the judges a clear view of where they come from and what is so awesome about their county. Contestants will also go through an interview process where they will be asked questions regarding different areas of their life, such as community involvement, interests and what their definition of a homemaker is and how they would represent the state of Michigan with a state homemaker title.

The Saginaw County Fair is very excited to be a part of a historical award that has been bestowed on so many wonderful participants. Applications are available here and in the fair office. Those individuals who would like to be a sponsor should contact the event coordinator, Michelle Kettler at 989-661-7863.
