Experience Santa's Village - North Pole USA. Young and old alike will enjoy a visit to the enchanted village.  Nestled snugly at the North Pole (aka, Saginaw County Fairgrounds, Chesaning, Michigan), Santa's Village embodies the spirit and excitement of the holiday season.  

And get that special Christmas photo?  Create a memory of your visit to the magical Santa's village.  You'll find a variety of holiday settings to frame your shots of family and friends.  You're welcome to take photos of your child or grandchild talking with Santa or in any of the other settings.

Santa's Village - North Pole USAwas inspired through a cooperative effort of the Saginaw County Fair board, the Saginaw Valley Agricultural Association and the Chesaning Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Steam Railroading Institute (located in Owosso, Michigan). 

The Saginaw County Fairgrounds is transformed into a winter wonderland.  Its large heated Exhibit Hall becomes Santa's Village, complete with holiday decorations and North Pole "shops".  The Village is a magical atmosphere for kids and the young at heart.  Parents and grandparents find lots to enjoy, too. And what could be more fun than seeing the wonder in childrens' eyes as they talk with Santa or ride the Kris Kringle Carousel?  Santa's Village activities are designed to please children and families.  There are plenty of free activities, and daily visits from the North Pole Express.

Engine 1225 is currently under repair and will be replaced by an old Diesel Engine. The train arrives at Santa's Village at 11 am and 5 pm daily while the Village is open.  North Pole Express passengers will join the festivities in the Village for approximately two hours each trip.
